What We Do
Starting in summer of 2022, after COVID travel restriction was lifted, and continued in 2023 and 2024, we have spent each summer living with the students at Yu-Tung Junior High School in Yuli, a rural village in southeastern Taiwan.
During our stays we share American culture with students of Yu-Tung while also learning about the indigenous culture in the area that dates back thousands of years.
We learn about each other’s music, food and cultural traditions that we would not have experienced otherwise and developed deeper appreciation for each other’s society.
Our foundation, through money raised selling music CDs and donations, provided cash stipends to Yutong students from low-income families as well graduating students.
